Kaplan College Online Degree Programs I have been saying for years that I want to further my education. I have put off this goal for a while now, as life threw some unexpected curves. I am now 31 years old and a single mother of two boys. I work 40 hours a week, but I feel unchallenged in my current position. For the past 13 years I have worked as a secretary, performing necessary but mundane tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and generating weekly and monthly reports. However, I have lately been given the opportunity to advance within my company and to take on tasks that bear greater responsibility. Most recently, I was given an opportunity to step into a key role on a highly visible contract.

When I came across Kaplan College on the web, I realized that I could incorporate the training I need into my hectic home and work schedule. The online program with Kaplan is perfectly suited to my time constraints. It will allow me to pursue a higher education and gain necessary knowledge for my job without having to attend live classes.
